Our work

Clothing and shoes, from neighbours who have them to families who need them.

Our work follows every donation from a donor's closet to a family at a food bank. Here's what that looks like, and where we have been so far.

What we do

Pickups and drop-off days

Volunteers collect bags of clothing and shoes from donors across the GTA on weekends, and we hold drop-off days so neighbours can bring donations to us.

Sorting and valuing

Every bag is sorted by type and condition. Items that can't be worn are set aside, and each donation is valued with our published guide so donors can receive an official tax receipt.

Free distributions at food banks

We set up a free clothing shop at partner food banks, with racks, tables and a mirror, so families can choose what fits them, from winter coats to children's shoes.

Keeping clothing out of landfill

Every item worn again is one less item thrown away. Reuse is part of our mission, alongside helping families save money.

What we accept

Clean, gently used clothing for women, men, children and babies, plus shoes, bags and accessories like hats and scarves. Warm items are especially welcome in fall and winter.
